Around 8:30, other single parties filtered in with their laptops and books for their relaxing breakfast, too.īreakfast time parking was relaxing, too! There were plenty of spaces on the street and in the lot behind the restaurant. We sat at a very large table, and it fit all ten of us with room to spare. The atmosphere is very calming, especially for a morning-hater like myself. It was also the prettiest looking plate on the table. I wish I'd counted how many there were, but I think there were at least 7, including chamomile, peppermint, and orange pekoe. I also appreciated their hot tea selection. I would have liked to see less grease/water surrounding my egg, and the plating isn't especially beautiful, but if what you want is a hearty first meal, then Parish delivers. 2 bath 550 - 1,788 sqft North Highland Steel 240 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 Street View Commute Time: Add a commute Property details Property type Apartment Last updated 4. I also appreciated the real butter brought out with my breakfast. The frost were very creamy, the bacon done just the way I like it, and my eggs were perfect, too. Tasty breakfast in a fun part of town and with pretty good service. 240 N Highland Ave NE Unit 3, Atlanta, GA 30307. While the restaurant seemingly can't control the behavior of rude, inconsiderate people, they can make a rule or put a sign that the big table should be reserved for MORE THAN TWO people. Our group had to awkwardly sit at two tables and you couldn't really put them together because they were round. By the time we ordered they left, but before we could sit down another two people came and sat at the big table!!!! When there were PLENTY of options for them! Then they disgustingly decided to only take up a tiny CORNER of the table to ensure their inconsiderate behavior wouldn't go unnoticed. When we first came in there were two people sitting at the big table when plenty of the smaller tables were available. However, there was a group of four of us and of the plenty of tables outside there's only one that seats more than 2/3. The service was quite snarky but the food was delicious and came out quickly! As most places do, they blast the air conditioning inside so it is freezing and uncomfortable. I would give this place 3.5 stars, but there are no half stars here, so Aiyana’s great attitude pushes it to a 4.We came here for breakfast and ate at the back patio. One note about the restrooms: they were not the cleanest and you have to pass an open garbage can to get there. My youngest also enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries, no complaints. They both enjoyed their meal and had enough to take home. Wifey gave it a 9 and my oldest gave it a 7. The tenders were crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside and with the syrup, I really enjoyed it. I received 1 big kinda thin waffle and about 4-5 chicken tenders(not wings). My youngest ordered a Cheeseburger with Fries. For food, Wifey and my oldest ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The menu had many of our favorite food items and had a lot of specialty drinks with a small, but respectable craft beer selection. When we first arrived, the music was pretty loud, but they eventually lowered the volume to a nice level. We all reviewed the menu while enjoying the music being pumped outside. We were joking, not to lean on it because it probably could not support anything too heavy. She was very friendly with a great attitude. Our server, Aiyana, came to give us our menus and glasses of water. It has a decent amount of indoor seating and a small outside seating area. We entered the restaurant, requested to sit outside and we were seated immediately. I was told by a waitress that there is a parking lot on Sampson that is free for 2 hours, but I was able to find something on the street directly across from the restaurant on Highland. Party of 4 for Dinner The restaurant is located on the corner of North Highland and Sampson Street.
